Important Information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic - Update 23 March 2020
As the coronavirus outbreak causing COVID-19 continues to spread in Australia and globally, ACEN is closely monitoring and considering the potential impact on our instructors and stakeholders, and our scheduled activities and events.
The safety and wellbeing of our staff, colleagues and the community is paramount, and this will shape any changes to our planning for courses
We also appreciate the additional strain being felt by the healthcare sector as all information about the COVID-19 outbreak is emerging constantly.
We understand this is a very challenging time for everyone, and the impacts of this outbreak on our sector and our communities will continue to be felt for months to come. ACEN is closely monitoring the situation, and we will provide updates with new information affecting our activities as soon as it becomes available.
In line with the latest Federal Government restrictions (22/3/2020) the ACEN Board of Directors has made the decision that all educational programs scheduled till the 30th June will be postponed. All current applications will be held over until we are able to provide the education for you. Please contact us individually if you would like to discuss this further.
ACEN will continue to monitor the effect of COVID-19 and the recommendations of the governing bodies and will decide each month regarding future programs scheduled for the remainder of the year on a month to month basis.
Thank you for the incredible job that you are doing at this difficult time and please remember that the strength of Emergency Nursing is the unity that we have as colleagues and friends. Please do not hesitate to contact ACEN at any time if we can be of any assistance or support to you.
Regards
