Important message from the DFTB Founders
1 May 2020
It will not be a surprise to you to learn that we have had to make the decision to postpone DFTB20 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Our venue and conference management company have been gracious in supporting us with alternative dates, and DFTB21 will now take place Monday 16 August – Wednesday 18 August 2021. Workshops will run on Sunday 15 August 2021, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
We remain excited about the program and have already had confirmation that many of our supreme speakers and wonderful workshops will be going ahead as planned in 2021. We are hoping to change as little as possible about the venue, program, branding and social program.
For those already registered for DFTB20, your registration will be rolled over automatically to DFTB21, including all workshop and social ticket components. Should there be any timing, date or scheduling updates to any of these components, you will be advised via email.
Additionally, if you booked accommodation through the Conference Secretariat booking system, your current accommodation booking and any deposit monies paid will also be rolled forward to coincide with the new conference dates, and you will be contacted via email if any changes occur. If you have any questions about your accommodation please contact the Accommodation Manager (adrianep@icmsaust.com.au).
Please note that you will receive an updated registration and confirmation email. If you do not receive this by Tuesday 5 May, please email registrations@
DFTB are in the midst of planning a one-day online event in place of the original conference in August 2020. Further details will be coming out soon so stay tuned for this.
Thank you for your support for DFTB and thank you for the work you are doing in these challenging times.
If you have any questions or queries, please contact the Conference Secretariat.
