Dear Colleague
We are currently conducting a study entitled Exploring the Landscape of Simulation‑based Education in Emergency Medical Services (ELSEEMS) – Development of a Global Survey by the SESAM Pre‑Hospital Community of Practice. We would be very grateful for your support, and we kindly ask you to help disseminate the survey among your colleagues.
The study aims to understand how simulation‑based education is being used in EMS training worldwide, including the methodologies applied, existing requirements, perceived effectiveness, and the level of institutional support for simulation.
If you are involved in the education or training of EMS students or professionals in any way, your contribution is extremely valuable. Your insights will help us map current practices, identify gaps, and support the development of recommendations that can strengthen and harmonize EMS training internationally.
The questionnaire is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete.
Survey objectives include:
- Identifying associations between SBE methodologies, tools, and the professional groups or organizations being trained.
- Determining whether educators or institutions hold SBE certifications or accreditations.
- Assessing perceptions of SBE effectiveness.
- Evaluating organizational support for integrating SBE into training programs.
Your participation—and the participation of your colleagues—will make a meaningful contribution to this global initiative.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and support.
