Weaknesses:

The book was written for the American market and as such there are some sections that are not relevant to Australian Practice. These include – Legal Issues, Envenomation and the Vaccinations Regimes.

Strengths:

This is very easy to read and easy to find what you are looking up. The spaces allocated for you to customise the book to meet you own needs is an excellent idea. The space could be used for listing your contact numbers and unit policy and procedure rules related to the individual sections

Reviewer Comments:

This is an excellent resource guide for all emergency nurses. It is easy to read and to find what you are looking for.

I would certainly recommend this tool for both the novice and experienced clinician and for Emergency Departments to add one to their unit library
