While we are still awaiting clarity on when flights and venues will be available we are accepting “Expressions of Interest” to help us to organise courses and alert you to the locations that could work for you as they become available. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) 8th Edition
The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) was developed by the ENA (USA) to improve the care of the trauma patient through international development and the identification of a standardised body of trauma nursing knowledge. ACEN is proud to deliver this course throughout Australia and New Zealand
TNCC offers interactive learning with scenario – based assessments
Rapid identification of life-threatening injury
Comprehensive patient assessment utilising a systematic approach to Initial Assessment of the patient
Enhanced intervention for better patient outcomes
Hands on training to provide expert care
Evidence – based content developed by trauma experts
Patient advocacy regarding pain management and family presence
Instructors with extensive emergency and trauma experience.
TNCC is a 2-day intensive course with a 21-chapter comprehensive manual, hands on skill stations, lectures and group discussions.
The Australian College of Emergency Nursing Ltd. will award 20 in-service hours to participants who attend the entire course regardless of their performance during testing

- Participants are not eligible for a refund once the manuals have been posted.
- Participants are not eligible for a refund for failure to attend the nominated course.
Special circumstances and course transfer may be considered on application to the Executive Director and must be received in writing before the course date.
